About Proiect
After a major municipal amalgamation, Shippagan found itself at a turning point—welcoming several surrounding communities into its fold. The town needed a new brand that could represent its expanded identity while preserving its Acadian heritage and strong local pride. VIVIFY, in collaboration with O Strategies, was brought in to guide the process from strategy to community engagement and final rollout.

Objective
The goal was to develop a unifying brand that felt modern, inclusive, and future-ready. It had to resonate with long-standing residents and new communities alike—reflecting Shippagan’s transformation while staying rooted in its unique character, culture, and coastal charm.



Solution
We led a thoughtful, inclusive rebranding process, beginning with public consultations, stakeholder workshops, and community surveys. Based on these insights, we created multiple brand concepts that captured the essence of Shippagan. The final identity was chosen through a public vote—giving residents a voice in shaping how their town is represented moving forward.

The new Shippagan brand symbolizes unity, pride, and progress. It provides a visual and emotional anchor for a growing municipality, reinforcing a shared sense of place. With a brand shaped by its people, Shippagan now steps confidently into its next chapter—stronger, connected, and future-focused.
